Job summary

Newell Brands seeks a Program Manager I to join the PMO supporting the Outdoor and Recreation business. You will lead global cross-functional teams through stage-gate processes to develop, commercialize, and launch innovative products that meet cost, schedule, and quality targets.

You will ensure accurate project planning, analysis, and reporting while supporting the Integrated Portfolio Planning Lead in gate readiness and portfolio reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, supply chain, operations, engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in product development and project management; consumer products experience preferred.
• Strong ownership, urgency, accountability, and results in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to balance depth and breadth of project analysis and drive cross-functional execution.
• Experience facilitating cross-functional collaboration across locations and teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead New Product Development (NPD) projects of varying complexity.
• Facilitate planning sessions to define timelines, milestones, dependencies, and ownership.
• Drive on-time, in-full delivery with clear KPIs on timing, cost, quality, scope, and budget.
• Identify risks and dependencies; recommend mitigations and resource trades.
• Prepare materials and support for gate meetings and portfolio reviews with leadership.
