Job summary

Newell Brands is seeking a Manager, Market Development & Planning- Strategy & Operations for the Home segment. This hybrid role partners with the VP and cross-functional teams to translate priorities into operating plans, co-develop practical processes, and lead cross-functional workstreams through implementation and adoption.

The position contributes to long-range planning, fact-based analysis, process improvement, capability building, and high-priority initiatives that enhance how Home MD&P

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in strategy, market development and planning, commercial operations.
• Experience partnering with cross-functional leaders in a complex, matrixed organization.
• Knowledge of annual planning, business reviews, forecasting interfaces.
• Ability to build processes, templates, playbooks, or reporting mechanisms.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic and operational partner to the VP of MD&P - Home.
• Coordinate long-range strategy and annual planning with functional leads.
• Develop analyses, decision frameworks, and leadership materials for cross-functional issues.
• Manage MD&P operating calendar, tools, templates, and governance.
• Create scorecards, dashboards, and management routines to track execution.
• Lead cross-functional issue management and problem-solving workstreams.
• Prepare executive updates and facilitate decision forums.
• Support change management and transformation initiatives across Home MD&P.
