Job summary

Tennessee Valley Hospitality LLC, dba Fooshee Pass- is seeking a District Manager for a selected recreation area within Fooshee Pass. You will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure safety and visitor satisfaction in a remote outdoor setting.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will train hosts and maintenance personnel, handle incident resolution, and coordinate with local agencies. A flexible schedule including evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising staff and coordinating daily operations.
• Strong customer service in high public contact settings.
• Ability to train and mentor hosts and maintenance personnel.
• Proven ability to handle conflicts and resolve issues professionally.
• Willingness to perform manual labor and light maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Oversees general operations within an assigned area and ensures compliance with standards.
• Supervises and trains hosts and maintenance personnel.
• Conducts training workshops and safety tailgate meetings.
• Maintains relationships with employees, government representatives, and visitors.
• Handles visitor complaints and rules violations professionally.
• Troubleshoots and responds to incidents within permitted areas.
• Makes suggestions to improve operations.
• Performs manual labor tasks and may supervise construction/maintenance.
• Participates in fee collection, grounds maintenance, and utility testing.
• Secures, processes, and maintains records of deposits and revenues.
• Collects time cards and submits summaries.
• Reports hazards and enforces customer service standards.
• Fills in for hosts during breaks, sick leaves, vacations.
