Job summary

MIRATECH Corporation in Houston, TX is seeking a Receiving Material Handler for a 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 6:00 am - 3:00 pm) with overtime as needed. This role operates 100% outside in a non-climate-controlled warehouse, handling unloading, inspection, and accurate documentation of incoming materials.

Responsibilities include verifying contents against packing lists, labeling and storing materials, and maintaining ERP/MRP records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or material handling.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems for inventory tracking is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to [insert weight, e.g., 50 lbs] and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, inventory software).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
• Verify shipment contents against packing lists, invoices, and purchase orders.
• Label, sort, and store materials in designated warehouse locations.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP/MRP systems.
• Work closely with purchasing, production, and quality teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
• Assist in cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
• Keep receiving and storage areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
