Job summary

NCRWA is seeking a dedicated maintenance worker to help maintain and improve Village streets, parks, beaches, buildings, and stormwater systems in Bald Head Island. You’ll fix sidewalks, clean storm drains, mow grass, plant trees, and prep for special events.

You’ll operate equipment from dump trucks to chainsaws in a team environment, enjoy variety in your day, and contribute to keeping our community clean, safe, and beautiful.

Qualifications

• Physically able to perform outdoor maintenance tasks.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve Village streets, parks, beaches, buildings, and stormwater systems.
• Repair sidewalks and clean storm drains; mow grass and plant trees; prep for events.
• Operate equipment from dump trucks to chainsaws; perform routine maintenance.
• Assist with storm cleanup and mosquito control as needed.
