Job summary

Commercial Metals Company in Pooler, GA is hiring for a production/fabrication role with training and opportunities for advancement. Pay starts at $20 per hour, with Day 1 benefits coverage, paid time off, and a 401(k) match.

The job involves operating fabrication equipment, loading/unloading stock, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. You will work outdoors in varying weather, read technical documents, and collaborate with a team to meet production goals while following OSHA and safety

Qualifications

• Must be able to work outside under all weather conditions.
• Read technical documents and service manuals.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders when needed.
• Work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment and stay safety-focused.

Responsibilities

• Attend training regarding applicable equipment.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
• Assist in loading fabricated rebar on trailers and unloading stock material from trailers.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition.
• Operate production machines per established procedures and guidelines.
• Participate in CMC Safety Programs and uphold safety culture.
• Operate rebar fabrication equipment (shears, benders, cranes, forklift, threaders, welders, etc.).

Education

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
