Job summary

Commercial Metals Company in Orlando, FL is seeking a capable general laborer to support fabrication and loading operations in a fast-paced industrial environment.

You’ll participate in equipment operation, maintain a clean work area, follow safety policies, and contribute to timely production. The role requires physical stamina, reliability, and the ability to read technical documents. Training is provided, with opportunities for advancement within a Fortune 500 company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in a fast-paced industrial environment is a plus.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals and service documents.

Responsibilities

• Attend training regarding applicable equipment.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
• Assist in loading fabricated rebar on trailers and unloading stock material from trailers.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition.
• Operate production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
• Participates in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively upholds the CMC Safety Culture.
• Operate fabrication equipment such as shears, benders, cranes, forklift, threaders, forging, welders, etc.
