Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in Ravenswood, WV is seeking entry-level and skilled Tree Trimmers and Climbers to join our outdoor crews. On-the-job training is provided and you will lead trimming, topping, and reshaping trees to clear powerlines.

This full-time, non-exempt position offers competitive hourly wages, a comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities to advance in the line clearance industry. Applicants must be able to work outdoors in all weather and hours may include overtime.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Willing and able to work long hours and overtime during emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Trim and remove trees by climbing or with equipment to clear powerlines.
• Operate chainsaws, chippers, and related tools safely and efficiently.
• Plan and coordinate crew activity and ensure customer access and safety.
• Maintain good housekeeping on trucks and worksites and assist training new staff.
• Promote safe work practices and manage debris removal and site cleanup.
