Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is hiring for Trimmer/Climber. Entry-level and skilled positions with on-the-job training are available to build a career in the line clearance industry. This role involves outdoor work in all weather, trimming, topping, and reshaping trees to clear powerlines.

The job is full-time and non-exempt, with competitive hourly pay and a benefits package including health, retirement, and life/disability coverage.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Must be able to walk, climb, and work from ladders at various heights.
• Good hand-to-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Trim and remove trees, branches, and trunk sections.
• Operate and service required tools and equipment.
• Load/unload trucks and feed brush into a woodchipper.
• Maintain safety and keep work areas clean and orderly.
• Assist in training new employees and help ensure proper tool maintenance.
