Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in West Virginia is hiring entry-level and skilled Trimmers and Climbers. On-the-job training is provided. The role involves trimming, topping, and reshaping trees to ensure clearance for utility powerlines.

Full-Time +, Non-Exempt with competitive hourly pay. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plan, and EAP; prior experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Must be able to walk, climb, and work from ladders at varying heights in all weather.
• No fear of heights.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Trim and remove trees and branches to create clearance for powerlines.
• Operate and service required tools and equipment.
• Load/unload trucks and feed debris into woodchipper.
• Assist in training new employees and maintain safe work areas.
• Safeguard employees and the public from hazards and coordinate with customers and authorities.
