Job summary

Rural King is seeking a Department Lead to oversee operations in a department, manage inventory and pricing, maintain displays, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will ensure planograms and signage meet company standards while supporting front-end activities as needed.

The role requires at least 2 years in retail, strong communication, and adaptability to changing priorities. Typical hours include a 40-hour week with varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, in our Norwalk, CT

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of retail experience with knowledge of specific department.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey ideas, instructions, and information clearly and concisely.
• Demonstrate a high level of adaptability in response to changing priorities, unexpected challenges, and evolving business needs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee scanning outs, inventory management, and price changes.
• Maintain department cleanliness and signage per indoor merchandising guide.
• Ensure planogram sets are followed and products are neatly displayed.
• Provide friendly, proactive customer service and assist with inquiries.
• Support front-end activities by processing transactions or loadouts as required.
