Mosquito Joe is seeking a Pest Control Technician in Dawsonville, GA to join our growing, locally owned team. If you’re organized, motivated, and ready for professional growth, this role offers field work maintaining outdoor pest control for residential and commercial properties.

You will operate a company vehicle, inspect and treat for mosquitoes, ticks, fleas, and other pests, explain procedures to customers, and maintain records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must have some outdoor work experience in varied weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift/carry at least 60 lbs and work 40 hours per week.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company vehicle to complete daily routes.
• Visually inspect and treat for mosquitoes, fleas, ticks, and other outdoor pests.
• Explain services and procedures to customers while maximizing up‑sale opportunities.
• Maintain excellent customer relationships with professionalism in the field.
• Maintain chemical and operational records per state requirements.
• Handle pesticides safely in accordance with regulations.
• Complete pesticide certification requirements and continuing education.
• Walk properties with equipment weight over 60 lbs in typical Georgia temperatures.
• Contribute to company growth by establishing rapport with potential customers.
• Other duties as assigned.
