Job summary

Mosquito Joe is seeking a Pest Control Technician to join our Cartersville team in Georgia. You will operate a company vehicle, inspect and treat outdoor pests, and communicate service expectations to customers while maximizing up-sale opportunities. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift 60 lbs are required.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED and some outdoor work experience. Must pass a background check and drug screen, and be willing to work flexible hours (about 40

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Some prior outdoor work experience in varying weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
• Must be able to lift and carry 60 lbs.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, ~40 hours weekly.
• State-required pesticide certification/licensing.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company vehicle to complete daily routes.
• Inspect and treat for mosquitoes, fleas, ticks, and other outdoor pests.
• Explain service expectations and upsell where appropriate.
• Maintain professional customer relationships in the field.
• Keep chemical and operational records per state requirements.
• Maintain clean and organized service vehicles.
• Handle pesticides safely per state and federal regulations.
• Complete pesticide certification and continuing education requirements.
• Walk property with equipment over 60 lbs in typical Georgia heat.
• Contribute to company growth by building rapport with potential customers.
• Other duties as assigned.
