Job summary

Mosquito Joe is seeking a Pest Control Technician to service outdoor pest control for residential and commercial customers in the Cumming, GA area. You will operate a company vehicle, perform inspections and treatments for mosquitoes, ticks, and fleas, and explain services to customers.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, outdoor work experience, and the ability to lift 60 lbs. A valid license, background check, and drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• Must have some previous experience working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
• Must complete a background check and a drug screen prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company vehicle to complete daily routes.
• Inspect and treat for mosquitoes, fleas, ticks, and other outdoor pests.
• Explain to customers the expectations for services while maximizing up-sale opportunities.
• Maintain excellent customer relationships with professionalism in the field.
• Maintain chemical and operational records in accordance with state requirements.
• Handle pesticides in a safe manner in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Complete pesticide certification requirements and continuing education requirements.
• Able to walk customer property while carrying equipment weighing 60 lbs. for long periods.
