Job summary

Mosquito Joe is seeking a Pest Control Technician to join our Smyrna, GA team. If you’re organized and motivated, you’ll help protect residential and commercial properties from mosquitoes, ticks, and fleas while growing with a fast‑moving, locally owned company.

You will operate a company vehicle, perform inspections and treatments, explain services to customers, and maintain records and safety standards. This role emphasizes customer relations, compliance, and ongoing education in a dynamic

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must have some previous outdoor work experience in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Must be able to lift at least 60 lbs and work flexible hours (40 hours/week).

Responsibilities

• Able to safely operate a company vehicle to complete daily routes.
• Visually inspect and treat for mosquitoes, fleas, ticks, and other outdoor pests.
• Thoroughly explain to the customer the expectations for services and procedures while maximizing up-sale opportunities.
• Maintain excellent customer relationships by making personal connections and exhibiting professionalism in the field.
• Maintain chemical and operational records in accordance with state requirements.
• Maintain clean and well-organized service vehicles.
• Handle pesticides in a safe manner in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Complete pesticide certification requirements and complete continuing education requirements.
• Able to walk customer property while carrying equipment weight over 60lbs. for long periods of time in typical Georgia temperatures.
• Contribute to the growth of the Company by establishing rapport with potential customers.
• Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
