Job summary

Mosquito Joe is seeking a Pest Control Technician in Ball Ground, GA to join our fast-growing team. You will safely operate a company vehicle, inspect and treat for mosquitoes, ticks, fleas, and other outdoor pests, and clearly explain service expectations to customers while maximizing up-sale opportunities.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, prior outdoor work experience, a valid driver's license, the ability to lift 60 lbs, and a willingness to work flexible hours (40+ per week).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Must have some previous experience working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company vehicle to complete daily routes.
• Visually inspect and treat for mosquitoes, fleas, ticks, and other outdoor pests.
• Explain to customers the expectations for services and procedures while maximizing up-sale opportunities.
• Maintain excellent customer relationships by being professional in the field.
• Maintain chemical and operational records per state requirements.
• Handle pesticides safely in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Complete pesticide certification requirements and continuing education.
