Job summary

RLK and Company is seeking a Lift Operations/Loss Prevention team member at Timberline to assist guests with chairlifts, runs, and terrain features while working with Guest Services to ensure a safe and enjoyable outdoor experience. This role emphasizes loss prevention and customer service in a high-energy environment.

Selected candidates will support hill safety, ticket checks, and daily operations, with physical ability to lift 50 lbs and endure long shifts in varying weather.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be professional with words and actions at all times.
• Must have thorough working knowledge of Timberline.
• Must have excellent leadership, conflict resolution and motivational skills.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Must be able to perform duties of a Lift Attendant.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service.
• Maintain maze and line control.
• Loss prevention through meticulous checks of tickets and season passes.
• Communication with Guest Services and other staff members.
• Assigned daily duties for both Lift Operations and Loss Prevention.
• Ensure hill safety, guest service and loss prevention beyond maze perimeters.
• Remain abreast of daily events using Daily Hot Sheet.
• Actively participate in RLK and Company’s Health & Safety Program by identifying and reporting potential hazards, reporting incidents, and promoting a healthy workplace.
• Exercise stewardship of all RLK and Company facilities and environments, ensuring that efforts are made to reduce, reuse, and recycle when the opportunity is present.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
