Job summary

Timberline Lodge is seeking a Lift Attendant to provide outstanding guest service throughout the special-use permit area and to work with Lift Operations and Guest Services to ensure a safe, enjoyable experience for guests.

The role requires 18+ years of age, professional conduct, and the ability to pass a background check; leadership, communication, and physical endurance are essential. Training will occur before snow is fully on the ground.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Professional with words and actions at all times.
• Must have thorough working knowledge of Timberline.
• Excellent leadership, conflict resolution and motivational skills.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Must be able to perform duties of a Lift Attendant.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service.
• Maintain maze and line control.
• Loss Prevention through meticulous checks of tickets and season passes.
• Communication with Guest Services and other staff members.
• Assigned daily duties for both Lift Operations and Loss Prevention.
• Ensure hill safety, guest service and loss prevention beyond maze perimeters.
• Remain abreast of daily events using Daily Hot Sheet.
• Actively participate in RLK and Company’s Health & Safety Program by identifying and reporting potential hazards, reporting incidents, and promoting a healthy workplace.
• Exercise stewardship of all RLK and Company facilities and environments, ensuring that efforts are made to reduce, reuse, and recycle when the opportunity is present.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
