Job summary

Under Canvas seeks a General Manager to lead outdoor hospitality operations near Santa Fe, NM. You will ensure exceptional guest experiences, drive team engagement, and monitor financial results while partnering across departments to execute company goals.

You will hire, train, and develop a collaborative team, set expectations, and model a culture of safety and service excellence in an outdoor setting that hosts guests near national parks.

Qualifications

• This role requires at least 2 years of management experience in hospitality or a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality customer service and guest experiences.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Be the expert on camp policies and procedures to meet team and guest needs.
• Lead a management team with daily stand-ups and weekly departmental meetings.
• Build relationships with vendors and the local community.
• Manage property finances to meet monthly and yearly goals.
• Hire, train and develop the team to achieve company objectives.
• Communicate goals clearly and model a culture of excellence and safety.
• Collaborate with other departments to implement best practices and policies.
• Oversee capital projects and manage property relationships as assigned.
