Job summary

Gilchrist County Solid Waste & Recycling seeks an Experienced Equipment Operator to join our team. You will operate heavy equipment to support county operations, transport waste, and assist at recycling sites, ensuring safety and efficiency.

The role is full-time with retirement benefits. Requirements include ability to lift heavy objects outdoors in any weather, good customer service, Florida Class A CDL preferred (copy with application), and availability to work Saturdays. E-Verify is used.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform heavy lifting and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Good customer service skills.
• Florida Class A CDL license preferred (copy must be submitted with application).
• Must be able to work on Saturdays.

Responsibilities
