Job summary

FirstService Residential in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain the building’s exterior and surrounding landscape. The role offers $19–$20 per hour with a Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM schedule, weekends off, and full-time benefits.

The position emphasizes lawn care, debris removal, and safe operation of equipment. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and hands-on tool experience, with OSHA/EPA compliance and strong customer service skills expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• Must have experience using handheld tools such as weed cutter, push lawn mower, hedge trimmer, edger, leaf vacuum, blower and others.
• Multiple language fluency is desirable.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Must comply with OSHA and EPA guidelines concerning storage and use of chemical substances.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Cuts grass, maintains lawn, trims around trees, walkways and markers.
• Clears debris and maintains drives and walkways in safe condition.
• May be required to assist in the loading and unloading of supplies, equipment and/or merchandise.
• Maintains, services, cleans and properly stores equipment.
• Ability to properly utilize new equipment and follow safety procedures prior to using this equipment.
