Job summary

FirstService Residential in Boca Raton, FL 33432 is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain the building's grounds and surrounding walkways. You will cut grass, trim around trees, and help keep outdoor areas safe and presentable.

This full-time role requires using handheld tools, following OSHA/EPA guidelines, and delivering strong customer service to residents. Schedule is Monday to Friday 8am-4:30pm, with additional weekend coverage as needed. Competitive benefits are offered to eligible employees.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• Experience using handheld tools such as weed cutter, push lawn mower, hedge trimmer, edger, leaf vacuum, blower and others.
• Multiple language fluency is desirable.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Must comply with OSHA and EPA guidelines concerning storage and use of chemical substances.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Cuts grass, maintains lawn, trims around trees, walkways and markers.
• Clears debris and maintains drives and walkways in safe condition.
• May be required to assist in the loading and unloading of supplies, equipment and/or merchandise.
• Maintains, services, cleans and properly stores equipment.
• Ability to properly utilize new equipment and follow safety procedures prior to using this equipment.
