Job summary

FirstService Residential in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a Groundskeeper and pool attendant to oversee the pool area, manage safety announcements, and maintain poolside equipment and the building's appearance. You will operate lawn equipment, perform cleaning tasks, assist with setup for poolside events, and report incidents to the manager.

The role requires OSHA/EPA compliance, strong customer service, and the ability to work Sunday through Thursday.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• Experience using handheld tools for lawn care (weed cutter, mower, trimmer, edger, blower).
• OSHA/EPA guidelines knowledge required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Cuts grass, maintains lawn, trims around trees, walkways and markers.
• Clears debris and maintains drives and walkways in safe condition.
• Oversees pool area and makes safety announcements.
• Assists with setup and breakdown for poolside activities.
• Reports incidents to the manager.
• Maintains, services, cleans and stores equipment.
• Ensures pool equipment is in order for guest use.
