Job summary

Arlington Properties is seeking a dedicated Groundskeeper to keep our communities clean, safe, and inviting in Gonzales, LA. You’ll help set the tone for resident satisfaction and first impressions through landscaping and clear walkways.

This role focuses on routine maintenance, reporting repairs, preparing units for new residents, and supporting the maintenance team with move-outs and seasonal tasks. No prior landscaping experience is required, and you must be comfortable working outdoors in

Qualifications

• No prior maintenance or landscaping experience required.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Must be physically able to lift up to 100 lbs and perform daily tasks.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all types of weather.

Responsibilities

• Keep grounds, walkways, stairways, and public areas clean and debris-free.
• Assist with routine property maintenance and cleaning tasks.
• Report repair needs to the Service Manager.
• Prepare units for new residents.
• Maintain organized work and storage areas.
• Support the maintenance team with move-outs and turnovers.
• Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow or leaf removal.
• Clean and maintain pool areas (where applicable).
• Adhere to safety and company policies.
