Job summary

Arlington Properties is seeking a dedicated Groundskeeper for our Daphne, AL community. You will keep outdoor spaces clean, assist with maintenance, and help prepare units for new residents. This role supports a team that values safety, pride in work, and resident satisfaction.

No prior maintenance experience is required, but you must be willing to work outdoors and read/write in English while following safety guidelines. A valid driver’s license is required for mobility across properties.

Qualifications

• Reads, writes, and communicates effectively in English.
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather.
• Physically able to lift up to 100 lbs and perform manual tasks.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Keep the grounds, walkways, stairways, and public areas clean and debris-free.
• Assist with routine property maintenance and cleaning tasks.
• Report repair and maintenance needs to the Service Manager.
• Perform basic maintenance and help prepare units for new residents.
• Maintain neat and organized work and storage areas.
• Support the maintenance team with move-outs and turnovers.
• Help with seasonal tasks such as snow or leaf removal.
• Clean and maintain pool areas (where applicable).
• Adhere to all safety and company policies.
