Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance is a plus.
• Knowledge of plant species, horticulture practices, and landscape maintenance techniques.
• Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine landscaping tasks, including mowing, trimming, edging, and planting.
• Maintain flower beds, shrubs, trees, and other plant life by watering, fertilizing, and pruning as necessary.
• Clear debris, litter, and leaves from walkways, parking lots, and other outdoor areas.
• Operate and maintain various landscaping equipment and tools, including lawnmowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools.
• Monitor the health of plants and report any issues, such as pest infestations or diseases, to the supervisor.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects and tasks efficiently.
• Participate in seasonal projects, including snow removal, leaf collection, and other weather-related maintenance.
• Provide excellent customer service while interacting with visitors and addressing any concerns regarding the grounds.
