Job summary

Schill Grounds Management in Oakwood, Ohio, is seeking a Landscape Crew Member to support the Crew Leader in executing landscape plans and installing landscapes as required. The role may involve enhancement or maintenance work, with flexibility to cover both areas per supervisor guidance.

Ideal candidates will be able to operate lawn equipment, assist with installations, and perform seasonal snow removal. High school diploma or GED preferred; valid driver’s license is a plus.

Qualifications

• Required to work a varied schedule including Saturdays.
• Able to work in adverse weather conditions (rain, snow, heat/cold).
• Basic understanding of mechanical equipment maintenance.
• Ability to identify plants is preferred.
• Ability to read and follow landscape plans.

Responsibilities

• Assist Landscape Crew Leader in executing landscape enhancement plans.
• Operate equipment including commercial zero-turn riding mowers, line trimmers, blowers.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Plant, lay sod, trim, prune as required.
• Complete landscape and lawn installations as needed.
• Perform snow removal in winter months.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
