Job summary

The role involves operating commercial equipment, performing maintenance, installing sod, and assisting with hardscape and lighting projects as directed. Candidates should be physically capable, weather‑proof, able to lift up to 60 pounds, hold a valid driver's license, and be willing to work varied hours including snow removal.

Qualifications

• Availability to work a varied schedule including Saturdays, as needed.
• Basic understanding of mechanical equipment maintenance
• Ability to identify plants, preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist Landscape Crew Leader in execution of landscape enhancement plans as instructed by the supervisor.
• Operate equipment including commercial zero-turn riding mowers, brake-controlled walk behind mowers, line trimmers, blowers, etc.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Picking up trash and debris, as needed.
• Plant, lay sod, trim, prune as the job requires.
• Complete hardscape projects and outdoor lighting, as needed.
• Complete landscape and lawn installations, as needed.
• Perform any tasks related to lawn and landscape maintenance operations.
• Safely use various equipment including skid steer, mini excavator, sod cutters, bush hogs, brick saws, transits, various hand tools, etc.
• Perform snow removal in the winter months.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
