Job summary

BrightView Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Groundsperson to join our outdoor landscaping crew in Vista, CA. You will spend your day outdoors tending grass, trees, and plantings, using mowers, blowers, clippers, and edgers, and helping prep soil for planting.

You will be part of a close team, focused on safety and quality, with opportunities to grow through BrightView’s development and benefit programs. Roles include physical tasks, equipment care, and collaborative client support.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to lift/carry 35–80 pounds regularly.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Understand landscape basics.
• CDL Driver's License would be a plus
• Bilingual (Spanish) a plus

Responsibilities

• Operate mowers, blowers, clippers, and edgers to prep soil and cultivate landscapes.
• Set up and clean up, and care for trucks and machinery.
• Work as part of a crew to maintain client sites.
• Set up safety items like cones and signs to secure work areas.
• Hand tools to climbers and hoist them up using ropes.
• Move branches to chipper and unload trunks and chips.
• Ensure operations and sites are safe for employees and the public.
• Communicate effectively with crew and customers.
