Job summary

Augment is hiring a General Laborer in Standish, MI to support day-to-day cleaning and maintenance at a busy waste and recycling facility. This is a hands-on role outdoors, ideal for someone who stays active and works well with a team.

You’ll be placed on-site, helping keep the yard clean, safe, and organized while assisting operators, mechanics, and supervisors with various tasks as needed. Safety PPE is provided and required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow verbal instructions.
• Capable of working independently or in a team.
• Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks outdoors.
• Safety-minded and reliable under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Keep yard, shop, and work areas clean and free of debris.
• Assist with pressure washing, sweeping, and general cleaning of buildings and containers.
• Organize tools, equipment, and parts in yard or shop areas.
• Support minor maintenance tasks such as painting and organizing parts.
• Perform light landscaping or grounds maintenance duties.
• Direct trucks or equipment traffic when needed.
• Follow all site safety procedures and wear PPE at all times.
