Job summary

McGill Environmental Systems is seeking a dependable General Laborer to support operations at our composting and organics recycling facility in Morrisville, PA. The role is 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, outdoor, hands-on work with a strong emphasis on safety and cleanliness.

Starting wage is $22.00 per hour, with benefits including Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance, HSA, 401(k) match, PTO, tuition reimbursement, and opportunities for career growth and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, construction, landscaping, agriculture, or recycling environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Keep grounds, ramps, screening areas, and shop facilities clean and organized.
• Perform weed eating, shoveling, painting, and other grounds maintenance tasks.
• Clean and prepare processing bays and production areas.
• Assist with equipment cleaning and routine maintenance activities.
• Support maintenance technicians with repair and upkeep projects.
• Organize tools, parts, and supplies.
• Follow all safety procedures, environmental regulations, and standard operating procedures.
• Maintain accountability for company-issued tools and equipment.
• Perform housekeeping duties throughout the facility.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
