Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods – House of Sport is seeking an Outdoor Associate to provide thoughtful product recommendations that fit each athlete’s skill and experience level while delivering an elevated customer service experience in outdoor categories like fishing, camping and hiking. You will help drive results, uphold company standards, and assist with storewide operations.

You will guide athletes through use and maintenance of equipment and accessories and strive to build lasting relationships

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1–3 years retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide thoughtful product recommendations aligned with athlete's skill and experience level.
• Deliver elevated customer service and build relationships with athletes exploring fishing, camping, hiking, and outdoor activities.
• Maintain merchandise presentation and support floor sets, pricing changes, replenishment, and recovery processes.
• Guide athletes on use and maintenance of equipment and accessories.
• Communicate company initiatives and promotions to teammates; support store operations and loss prevention.
