• Uphold merchandise presentation standards and manage floor sets, signage, pricing, replenishment, and stock.
• Guide customers on use and maintenance of equipment and accessories.
• Communicate information about company initiatives, programs and promotions to teammates.
• Maintain loss prevention standards.

OVERVIEW:

At House of Sport the Outdoor Associate will be expected to provide thoughtful product recommendations that fit the skill/experience level of each athlete. As the Outdoor Associate must deliver an elevated customerservice experience that will build meaningful relationships with athletes within the great outdoors, fishing,camping, hiking, etc.…. Additional responsibilities will also include driving results, ensuring Company standards,and assisting with storewide operations as needed.

Customer Service & Sales:

• Responsible for driving the highest level of customer service within our Outdoor department whileengaging in behaviors that are in-line with company’s service and selling standards
• Bring to life the power of opinion. Making sure the explorer experience includes product experts whoprovide consultative advice while demonstrating excellent product knowledge
• Uphold standards for merchandise presentation, showcasing the best apparel and equipment brands insporting goods by following established floor sets, signing requirements, price changes, replenishmentand recovery processes, in-stock, etc.
• Guide and educate athletes through their purchase by communicating information on use andmaintenance of their equipment and accessories

Operations:

• Help communicate information to teammates regarding Company initiatives, programs, promotions,etc.
• Maintaining Company loss prevention standards

QUALIFICATIONS:
