Job summary

National Garden Service is seeking a part-time Garden Center Merchandiser to join our Westfield store. You will display outdoor plants, maintain product displays, water plant materials, and ensure signage is in place.

This outdoor role requires working in heat, cold and rain, lifting up to 30 lbs, and reliable transportation. You will interact with customers and store personnel, logging visits via the Go Spot Check app.

Qualifications

• Availability for part-time and seasonal work.
• Able to lift, push and carry up to 30 lbs repetitively.
• Comfort working outdoors in heat, cold and rain.

Responsibilities

• Display a variety of outdoor plants.
• Maintain product displays.
• Water all plant materials.
• Develop a watering plan with the floral department manager for additional support as needed.
• Ensure proper signage is in place.
• Maintain a safe and clean display area.
• Remove and record expired plant material.
• Interact with store personnel and customers.
• Develop a positive working relationship with store management and associates.
• Complete report for each store serviced.
• Document every visit using the Go Spot Check app.

As a Garden Center Merchandiser, your workday will include:

• Display a variety of outdoor plants
• Maintain product displays
• Water all plant materials
