Job summary

National Garden Service is seeking a part-time Garden Center Merchandiser to service Store #477 in Fort Mitchell, KY and Store #367 in Walton, KY. You will work outdoors in heat, cold and rain, lifting up to 30 lbs and using the Go Spot Check app.

Responsibilities include displaying plants, maintaining signage, watering plans with the floral department, and reporting for each store served. A smartphone and reliable transportation are required.

• Interact with store personnel and customers; build relations.
• Complete reports for each store served; use Go Spot Check app.

• Store #477 - 2150 Dixie Hwy Fort Mitchell, KY 41017
• Store #367 - 635 Chestnut Dr Walton, KY 41094

As a Garden Center Merchandiser, your workday will include:

• Display a variety of outdoor plants
• Maintain product displays
• Water all plant materials
• Develop a watering plan with the floral department manager for additional support as needed
• Ensure proper signage is in place
• Maintain a safe and clean display area
• Remove and record expired plant material
• Interacting with store personnel and customers
• Develop a positive working relationship with store management and associates
• Complete report for each store serviced
• Document every visit using the Go Spot Check app

As a Garden Center Merchandiser, you will be required to:

• Have a smart phone
• Workoutdoorsin all elements
• Have dependable transportation
• Have a valid driver’s license
• Lift, push and carry up to 30 lbs repetitively
• Assemble and tear down outdoor benching
• Understand and execute planograms
• Use workplace mobile apps
