National Garden Service in Michigan is seeking a part-time Garden Center Merchandiser to display outdoor plants, maintain displays, water plant materials, and ensure proper signage across Michigan stores Milan and Dundee.

The role requires working outdoors in all elements, lifting up to 30 lbs repeatedly, and having a smartphone, dependable transportation, and a valid driver’s license. You will visit stores and report via Go Spot Check app.

Responsibilities

• Display a variety of outdoor plants and maintain product displays.
• Water all plant materials and develop watering plan as needed.
• Ensure proper signage and keep display area clean and safe.
• Interact with store personnel and customers and develop good relationships.
• Complete reports for each store serviced using Go Spot Check app.

As a Garden Center Merchandiser, your workday will include:

• Display a variety of outdoor plants
• Maintain product displays
• Water all plant materials
• Develop a watering plan with the floral department manager for additional support as needed
• Ensure proper signage is in place
• Maintain a safe and clean display area
• Remove and record expired plant material
• Interacting with store personnel and customers
• Develop a positive working relationship with store management and associates
• Complete report for each store serviced
• Document every visit using the Go Spot Check app

As a Garden Center Merchandiser, you will be required to:

• Have a smart phone
