Job summary

National Garden Service is seeking a Garden Center Merchandiser for part-time, seasonal work at multiple Nevada stores. You will display outdoor plants, water plant materials, and ensure proper signage while coordinating with store teams to maintain attractive product presentations.

Applicants must have a smartphone, reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and be able to lift up to 30 lbs repeatedly, performing planogram setup and using Go Spot Check mobile app for visits.

Qualifications

• Part-time, seasonal role.
• Must be able to lift, push and carry up to 30 lbs repeatedly.
• Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold and rain.
• Have a valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
• Must have a smartphone to document visits using apps.
• Understand and execute planograms and maintain displays.

Responsibilities

• Display a variety of outdoor plants.
• Maintain product displays.
• Water all plant materials.
• Develop a watering plan with the floral department manager for additional support as needed.
• Ensure proper signage is in place.
• Maintain a safe and clean display area.
• Remove and record expired plant material.
• Interact with store personnel and customers.
• Develop a positive working relationship with store management and associates.
• Complete report for each store serviced.
• Document every visit using the Go Spot Check app.

As a Garden Center Merchandiser, your workday will include:

• Display a variety of outdoor plants
