Job summary

National Garden Service is seeking a part-time Garden Center Merchandiser for the Eagle, CO store. You will display outdoor plants, maintain displays, water plant materials, and help manage signage and cleanliness. Reporting visits via the Go Spot Check app is required.

The role involves lifting up to 30 lbs, a valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation, with work outdoors in heat, cold, and rain. This seasonal position offers growth opportunities and on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• Part-time, seasonal role in a garden center.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs repetitively.
• Driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Smartphone required to use the Go Spot Check app.
• Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold and rain.

Responsibilities

• Display a variety of outdoor plants.
• Maintain product displays.
• Water all plant materials.
• Develop a watering plan with floral department manager for support as needed.
• Ensure proper signage is in place.
• Maintain a safe and clean display area.
• Remove and record expired plant material.
• Interact with store personnel and customers.
• Develop positive working relationships with store management and associates.
• Complete reports for each store serviced.
• Document every visit using the Go Spot Check app.

As a Garden Center Merchandiser, your workday will include:

• Display a variety of outdoor plants
• Maintain product displays
• Water all plant materials
• Develop a watering plan with the floral department manager for additional support as needed
