Job summary

National Garden Service in Aurora, CO is seeking a Garden Center Merchandiser for a part-time, seasonal role. You will display outdoor plants, maintain displays, and water plant materials while coordinating with the floral department for support. The job requires lifting up to 30 lbs and working outdoors in all elements.

You will document each store visit via the Go Spot Check app and build positive relationships with store staff, ensuring signage and planograms are properly executed.

Qualifications

• Must have a smartphone and be comfortable using workplace apps.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Able to lift/push/carry up to 30 lbs repeatedly in outdoor conditions.
• Willing to work outdoors in heat, cold and rain.
• Understand and execute planograms.

Responsibilities

• Display a variety of outdoor plants and maintain product displays.
• Water all plant materials and develop watering plan with floral dept.
• Ensure proper signage and maintain a safe, clean display area.
• Remove and record expired plant material and interact with customers.
• Develop positive relationships with store management and associates.
• Complete reports for each store serviced and document visits using Go Spot Check.

As a Garden Center Merchandiser, your workday will include:

• Display a variety of outdoor plants
• Maintain product displays
• Water all plant materials
• Develop a watering plan with the floral department manager for additional support as needed
• Ensure proper signage is in place
• Maintain a safe and clean display area
• Remove and record expired plant material
• Interacting with store personnel and customers
• Develop a positive working relationship with store management and associates
• Complete report for each store serviced
• Document every visit using the Go Spot Check app

As a Garden Center Merchandiser, you will be required to:
