Job summary

National-Garden-Service- in Avon, CO is seeking a part-time, seasonal Garden Center Merchandiser to join our outdoor team. You will display outdoor plants and interact with customers.

You must lift up to 30 lbs, have dependable transportation and a valid driver’s license, plus a smartphone to report visits with the Go Spot Check app. This role is outdoors in heat, cold and rain and offers on-the-job training and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Display outdoor plants and maintain product displays.
• Water plant materials and develop watering plan with floral department.
• Ensure proper signage and maintain a safe, clean display area.
• Remove expired plant material and document visits.
• Interact with store personnel and customers; build positive relationships.
• Complete reports for each store serviced and use the Go Spot Check app.

• Store #426 - 0072 Beaver Creek Place Avon, CO 81620

As a Garden Center Merchandiser, your workday will include:

• Display a variety of outdoor plants
• Maintain product displays
• Water all plant materials
• Develop a watering plan with the floral department manager for additional support as needed
• Ensure proper signage is in place
• Maintain a safe and clean display area
• Remove and record expired plant material
• Interacting with store personnel and customers
• Develop a positive working relationship with store management and associates
• Complete report for each store serviced
• Document every visit using the Go Spot Check app

As a Garden Center Merchandiser, you will be required to:

• Have a smart phone

• Assemble and tear down outdoor benching
• Understand and execute planograms
