Job summary

National Garden Service, LLC is seeking a part-time Garden Center Merchandiser to service multiple Ohio stores. You will display and water outdoor plants, maintain displays, and interact with customers and store teams. A valid driver’s license, smartphone, and ability to lift up to 30 lbs are required.

The role involves working outdoors in all elements, using Go Spot Check for visit reports, and collaborating with store management to keep displays fresh and compliant.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work outdoors in heat, cold and rain.
• Able to lift, push and carry up to 30 lbs repetitively.
• Must have a smart phone and dependable transportation.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Experience with planograms and retail displays is a plus.
• Comfort with using workplace mobile apps.

Responsibilities

• Display a variety of outdoor plants and maintain product displays.
• Water all plant materials and develop a watering plan with floral department manager.
• Ensure proper signage and maintain a safe, clean display area.
• Remove and record expired plant material; document visits with the Go Spot Check app.

Route 2:

• Store #811 - 3165 Dayton Xenia Rd, Beavercreek, OH 45434
• Store #829 - 1700 W Park Square, Xenia, OH 45385

As a Garden Center Merchandiser, your workday will include:

• Display a variety of outdoor plants
• Maintain product displays
• Water all plant materials
• Develop a watering plan with the floral department manager for additional support as needed
• Ensure proper signage is in place
• Maintain a safe and clean display area
• Remove and record expired plant material
• Interacting with store personnel and customers
• Develop a positive working relationship with store management and associates
• Complete report for each store servicedDocument every visit using the Go Spot Check app

As a Garden Center Merchandiser, you will be required to:
