Job summary

National Garden Service, LLC is seeking a part-time, seasonal Garden Center Merchandiser for the Houston area. You will display outdoor plants, maintain product displays, water plant materials, and coordinate with the floral department.

You must have a smartphone, dependable transportation, a valid driver's license, and be able to lift up to 30 lbs repeatedly. This role requires working outdoors in all elements and interacting with store staff and customers to ensure optimal signage and a safe,

Qualifications

• Part-time or seasonal garden center role in Houston.
• Must be able to work outdoors in heat, cold, and rain.
• Lift, push and carry up to 30 lbs repeatedly.
• Have a valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
• Have a smartphone to document visits.

Responsibilities

• Display a variety of outdoor plants and maintain product displays.
• Water all plant materials and develop watering plans with floral department as needed.
• Ensure proper signage is in place and maintain a safe display area.
• Interact with store personnel and customers and build positive relationships.
• Complete reports for each store serviced using the Go Spot Check app.

As a Garden Center Merchandiser, your workday will include

• Display a variety of outdoor plants
• Maintain product displays
• Water all plant materials
• Develop a watering plan with the floral department manager for additional support as needed
• Ensure proper signage is in place
• Maintain a safe and clean display area
• Remove and record expired plant material
• Interacting with store personnel and customers
• Develop a positive working relationship with store management and associates
• Complete report for each store serviced
• Document every visit using the Go Spot Check app

As a Garden Center Merchandiser, you will be required to
