Job summary

FAAC Technologies is seeking a Service Technician to join the Associated Time Instruments team in the Houston area. The role involves on-site service and maintenance of parking and access control hardware/software, with duties including installation support and cross-product assistance.

The ideal candidate has electronics/technical training, hands-on tool experience, knowledge of networking, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Electronics technical school training or equivalent.
• Ability to work on proprietary software as well as hardware communications, programming and repair.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• A clean driving record.
• SQL Server database maintenance and Microsoft Operating Systems.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, specifically with customers, and ability to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• On-site service and maintenance for parking and access control hardware and software installations.
• Provide support for multiple products.
• Assist in installation of Parking and Revenue Control and Access Control systems under PM guidance.
• Work with various operating systems and have knowledge of networking.
• Software and hardware support for clients and other field service technicians.
