Job summary

FAAC Technologies is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform on-site service and maintenance for parking and access control hardware and software installations in the Minneapolis area. You will install, configure, and test equipment and provide technical support to clients and other technicians.

The role requires knowledge of electronics, networking, and various operating systems; ability to use hand and power tools; and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Electronics or electronics tech training required.
• Ability to service proprietary software and hardware communications.
• Able to use hand and power tools.
• Clean driving record required.
• Experience maintaining SQL Server and Microsoft OS environments.
• Strong written and oral customer communication skills.

Responsibilities

• On-site service and maintenance for parking and access control hardware/software installations in the Minneapolis area.
• Provide support for multiple products.
• Manage electronics, mechanics, and PC networking knowledge in field work.
• Work with various operating systems and networking.
• Provide software and hardware support to clients and fellow technicians.
• Assist in installing and testing Parking and Revenue Control and Access Control equipment under PM guidance.
