Job summary

ArborMetrics is seeking a Work Planner to join our vegetation management team. This outdoor role involves planning fieldwork, coordinating herbicide crews, and ensuring safe operations along utility rights-of-way.

You will work with GIS software, Microsoft Office, and iPhone tools to document data and support project execution. A company vehicle is provided and training is available for industry certifications.

Qualifications

• Must have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, strong problem solving and multi-tasking abilities and show attention to detail.
• Must be able to adapt to change.
• Knowledgeable about Utility Vegetation Management practices.
• Experience with GIS software/technology as well as Microsoft Suite and an iPhone.

Responsibilities

• Safety & Compliance: Identify and report safety hazards and incidents; follow safety standards; promote AMS values.
• Field Operations: Safely drive to sites and hike ROWs; plan work for herbicide crews and aerial saw vendors; mark hazards for Aerial Saw program; data entry with forestry software.
