Job summary

ArborMetrics Solutions, LLC is seeking a Work Planner to join our outdoor vegetation management team. You will plan field work for contracted crews, ensure safety standards, and coordinate with customers and stakeholders.

This role requires comfort working alone or with a team in challenging outdoor environments, proficiency with GIS and Microsoft Office, and strong communication skills. Travel to various sites and the ability to manage data on tablets are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of tree species identification and hazard assessment.
• Ability to hike/drive long hours in field environments.
• Experience with Utility Vegetation Management practices.
• Proficiency in GIS and Microsoft Office; familiarity with tablets/iPhone.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt to changing conditions and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Identify safety hazards and report incidents according to safety standards.
• Plan work for herbicide crews and aerial saw vendors.
• Identify and mark hazards in ROW for Aerial Saw; plan maintenance tasks.
• Record vegetation data using tablets and GIS-based systems.
• Communicate with leadership, auditors, clients, contractors, landowners and the public.
• Participate in storm and emergency response duties as needed.
