Job summary

Osmose Utilities Services is hiring Field Data Technicians to collect detailed data on electric utilities and telecom facilities. The role is outdoor and entails hiking between utility poles to capture measurements for fiber optic projects. Overnight travel 1–2 weeks is typical, with weekends at home.

Osmose will train the right candidate and provide travel support. The position starts at $24.50 per hour with potential bonuses, housing or living allowances, and vehicle-use reimbursements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Collect field data for engineering and design of fiber optic facilities.
• Submit organized data including maps, notes, and images.
• Operate and maintain field equipment including tablet and measuring tools.
• Represent Osmose professionally in the field.
• Communicate daily with project management team.
• Work safely and independently in the field.
