Job summary

SEFNCO Communications Inc is seeking a General Laborer for Outside Plant (OSP) broadband projects in Missouri. You will support fiber optic construction, maintenance, and installation, contributing to safe, efficient work aligned with the company’s core values: transparency, accountability, and communication.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years in construction, a valid driver’s license (CDL Class A preferred), and OSHA 10-hour safety and First Aid/CPR certifications.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED; technical/college education preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in construction, telecom infra preferred.
• Licenses: Valid driver’s license required; CDL Class A preferred.
• Certifications: OSHA 10-hour Construction Safety and Basic First Aid/CPR preferred.
• Background: Pass pre-employment background checks, drug tests, DMV checks, and DOT physicals.

Responsibilities

• Assist in excavation, trenching, and installation of fiber optic cables.
• Safely operate and maintain construction equipment such as mini excavators, trenchers, hydro-vacs, and hand tools.
• Prepare and restore job sites, including traffic control and material handling.
