Job summary

AmeriGas is looking for a dedicated Production Worker in Ruffs Dale, United States. The role involves processing BBQ grill cylinders, ensuring high safety and quality standards throughout the production process.

Candidates should be prepared for physically demanding tasks, including lifting and standing for long periods. A high school diploma or GED and preferably manufacturing experience are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
• Ability to stand and walk 8 – 12 hours per day.
• Maintain a safety focus at all times.

Responsibilities

• Sort, inspect, clean, paint, label, and refill empty cylinders.
• Load filled cylinders onto the truck(s) for the next day’s shipments.
• Perform general housekeeping duties.

Ability to follow processes, procedures, and instructions

Ability to function effectively as a member of a production team

Willingness to grow and learn

Basic mechanical aptitude

Basic computer knowledge

Work in a fast-paced environment

Ability to obtain required state licensing

Forklift certified

Education
