Job summary

AmeriGas Propane, Inc. is seeking a Production Worker to operate in the outside production area of the Cylinder Exchange facility. You will process 20 lb. barbeque grill cylinders, inspecting, painting, labeling and refilling as needed, while maintaining a strong safety focus.

Qualified candidates typically have 1–2 years in manufacturing, a high school diploma or GED, and a willingness to obtain forklift certification. The role involves standing long shifts and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years work experience in manufacturing preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Willingness to obtain forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Sort, inspect, clean, paint, label and refill empty cylinders.
• Maintain safety focus and wear proper PPE.
• Ensure consistent quality of cylinders being processed.
• Load filled cylinders onto trucks for next day’s shipments.
• Stand and walk 8–12 hours per day.
• Lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
